Week 5 Reading Reflection 

1) What was the biggest surprise for you in the reading? In other words, what did you read that stood out the most as different from your expectations?

Two of the biggest surprises I discovered while reading, were 1: how long it takes to get a patent (3 years); 2: a trademark lasts only for the duration of the author’s life plus 70 years.

2) Identify at least one part of the reading that was confusing to you.

I understand the main differences between corporations, partnerships, and sole proprietorships. However, i became a little confused when discussing the differences between the specific forms of partnerships and corporations, such as limited partnerships, LLPs, and S corporations.

3) If you were able to ask two questions to the author, what would you ask? Why?

1.Why did you choose to include portions of other chapters (7,11,13) in this chapter?
2.How do you think cyberlaw will evolve over time?

4) Was there anything you think the author was wrong about? Where do you disagree with what she or he said? How?

There was nothing in particular that I disagreed with the other about in this chapter.
